I didn't think this picture was that old at first, but that table behind him puts this at my mother's house in Vineyard Haven. Can't remember the last time my dad was there, nor the last time that table had liquor on it. I'm guessing this is Thanksgiving or Christmas, and since I have the negative I'm assuming I was there. So I think 85 might just be right.

Dad during a Bigelow family reunion. Early 80s would be my guess. The girl is my cousin Belinda. her sister was Jennifer and there is an anecdote there when I get around to telling it.

My dad as a soldier, I'm guessing by the medal that this is after the war, so probably 1945.

This is the swamp that "Uncle" Emil (Fussy) owed in South Middleboro. The family used to go camping and hiking here periodically. Camping is not my thing, but I went twice in my youth, and through the lens of time remember it fondly.
